Oshima Tsumugi

Oshima Tsumugi is one of the world’s three major textiles, along with France’s Gobelins and Iran’s Persian carpets.

This fabric is created through more than 30 processes, and it takes six months to a year to create one. Beautiful designs, deep luster that can be compared to the color of wet crow feathers, supple texture, and light comfort are attractive.

In addition, it is said to be a durable fabric that can be worn for 150 to 200 years, and is often used by generations, such as being passed down from parent to child for three generations.
